Dr. Mike Curtis was born in California and grew up in the Salt Lake area. After graduating from BYU with a zoology degree, he moved to Milwaukee, Wisconsin where he attended the Medical College of Wisconsin, graduating in 2002. He then joined the Army and did his family practice residency training at Ft. Gordon, Georgia. He was stationed in Louisiana for a time before being deployed to Baghdad, Iraq where he served for one year as battalion surgeon to the 3-67 Armor tank battalion. Dr. Curtis moved to Utah in June 2007 and began working as the newest physician at Tri City Medical.
Dr. Curtis is board certified in Family Medicine. He has a special interest in diabetes care, hypertension, and related issues. He also loves pediatrics and caring for children. He does a full range of pediatric and adult medicine.
Dr. Curtis loves living in Utah and enjoys hiking and other recreational opportunities that the surrounding area has to offer. He enjoys sports, music, and spending time with his wife and children. His faith plays an important part of his life and he enjoys being active in church.
